FAQ

  1. How do I know if I need a new radiator?

If there is any leak in the core of the radiator, we recommend that the radiator be replaced. This is because repairs tend to be temporary and often prove to be a false economy, not to mention the frustration of having to take your car off the road again.

If the tank or rubber seal is leaking, the cost of labour plus a new replacement tank and seal often exceeds the cost of a brand new radiator!

  2. How do I measure my radiator?

Radiators are identified by their core size. The dimensions are always expressed in millimeters, and the height is the length of the core as measured between the two tanks. The width of the core is the distance from one side of the core to the other, not including any mounting brackets or sideplates. The thickness of the core is its depth.

It does not matter whether the tanks are located on the top and bottom of the radiator (downflow type), or on the sides of the radiator (crossflow type), the height is always the distance between the tanks.

It is vital that you confirm the sizes of your core against the information in our catalogue before you order your new radiator.

  3. How do I find my radiator in your online catalogue?

Use the Quick Quote section on our Home page to easily identify your new radiator. By filling out the information boxes, you will see a clear diagram of the radiator, along with the core dimensions and any other identifying features, as well as the total price. You can then order through our safe and secure online portal.

  4. When will I receive my order?

Subject to stock availability, radiators ordered before 3.00 pm will be delivered by your courier the next working day. Country orders may take a little longer subject to freight companies’ delivery schedules.

  5. Do you provide Installation Procedures?

Yes, when you confirm your order, we will email Installation Instructions and information regarding Stray Current/Electrolysis along with your invoice. Additionally, when you receive your new radiator, the box will also contain these bulletins again for your reference.

If you are unsure about installing your new radiator yourself, we recommend that you take it to your regular mechanic for fitting.

  6. Why should I buy from you instead of someone else?

Radiator Wholesalers.com.au only supplies high quality radiators at the best value. There are many radiator suppliers In the market that sell cheap inferior products that will just not last, and they do not back up their product with after sales support. It is important that you choose a radiator supplier with experience that you can trust, that you can phone in the event of a problem, and that you can take your vehicle to if required. Remember the old adage that “if an offer seems too good to be true, it probably is!” Well, this applies to radiators as well.

We also ship direct from our own store, so our delivery times are significantly shorter than our competitors, and because we are the importer, we eliminate the middleman margin, allowing us to pass these savings on to you.

Our reputation is your assurance that you will be getting the best radiator deal that simply cannot be matched by any other supplier. In fact, we guarantee it!

  7. What is your warranty?
